Ngày chủ nhật mưa xa không xa…..
Bảy giờ sáng.
Căn nhà cung cư cũ kĩ với ba mặt tường đã đóng rêu xanh hiện ra trước mặt.
Một cậu bé mười tám tuổi vác mọi thứ lên căn phòng một cách khó khăn, Chiếc màn hình vi tính nặng như búa tạ trên đầu, nó chỉ có thể cúi xuống nhìn thấy những bàn chân đi qua đi lại thật nhanh, chẳng ai thèm để ý đến một thằng nhóc.
Vậy là bộ bài chuyên bói toán sai bét rồi! Mai đi học phải cho thằng béo biết tay. Còn nói là có quí nhân hỗ trợ, vậy mà vẫn phải ì ạch vác mọi thứ. Căn phòng nằm ở vị trí khá hiểm hóc, đi lên 2 lần cầu thang chính, rẽ trái đi thẳng rồi lại lên một cầu thang phụ, rẽ phải rồi lại lên một cầu thang phụ nữa, tiếp tục rẽ phải đi độ hai mươi mét nữa mới tới phòng. Chẳng hiểu gã dở hơi nào đã từng ở đây lại thêm con số không vào sao con số sáu, thành ra số phòng lại thành 1060 thay vì 106.
Mệt nhoài khi vác cái thùng sách đến cầu thang phụ thứ nhất, chợt một đôi chân mạnh mẽ với những ngón thuôn dài đập vào mắt.
_ Có cần anh giúp gì không nhóc?
Cái thùng sách nặng như chì nên không thể ngẩng mặt lên được, chỉ nhìn thấy đôi chân, trắng nhưng chắc và khỏe.
_ Dạ có phiền anh không ạ?
_ Không sao.Phòng nhóc ở đâu? Anh chuyển lên hộ?
Cái thùng toàn sách là sách được chuyền sang một đôi vai rắn chắc. Tự dưng lại bật lên số phòng của gã dở hơi thay vì con số thật.

Anh không hỏi lại, chỉ đi thẳng một mạch như anh là chính chủ nhân của căn phòng ấy vậy. Thùng sách nặng nhất cũng được chuyền vào phòng.
_ Phòng anh ở cạnh bên! Rất vui được chào đón một thành viên mới!
Cái bắt tay thân thiện, anh khuất sau cầu thang, tiếng chân vẫn còn vang đều đều….
Ngồi bên cạnh căn phòng đã được xắp xếp gọn gàng, chiếc bàn bé xinh đặt cạnh cửa sổ, cái computer đặt ở góc gần tủ áo, chiếc giường nằm cạnh bên, mở cửa ra ban công, Một chậu hoa hồng dây leo đập vào mắt, nhiều và tốt đến nỗi leo tận xuống ban công phòng dưới,ban công bên kia của anh cũng thế cũng đầy hoa hồng dại.
Bật chiếc máy đĩa, thanh âm tràn ngập căn phòng.

Chợt nhớ đóa hoa tường vi
Bàn tay ngắt hoa từ phố nọ
Giờ đây đã quên vườn xưa
Một hôm bước qua thành phố lạ
Thành phố đã đi ngủ trưa

Nhiều khi bỗng như trẻ nhớ nhà
Từ những phố kia tôi về…”

Tự dưng nảy ra một ý tưởng lấp đầy bức tường trống trãi, Cái thang sắt cũ kĩ nằm sẵn bên cạnh cửa ra vào. Vậy là cầm cọ lên và cứ vậy mà vẽ….
Một lỗ thủng trên tường, có thể nhìn xuyên qua phòng bên cạnh, Chợt giật mình, nhìn thấy anh đang trong tư thế của adam, mặt đỏ như gấc. tay chân luống cuống, rơi đánh oạch một phát trên sàn.

Tiếng hát bên kia cất lên theo điệu nhạc, nhìn bức tranh vừa vẽ xong một cách mãn nguyện khi ngồi trên giường với chiếc khăn vẫn còn mùi dầu gội.
Một chiếc quần lót nhẹ nhàng, bồng bềnh, thật dễ chịu, đứng lan nhắm mắt lại hít một hơi thật sâu, những bông hoa thả cành dài đong đưa theo cơn gió nhẹ.
_ Hoa đẹp không?
Giật mình quay sang
_ Chào anh!
Tiếng trò chuyện lấp đầy khoảng cách giữa hai căn phòng.
Cứ thế một năm cuối cấp cũng qua, mỗi lần nhìn thấy anh là một cảm giác rất lạ.
Một ngày cuối tuần, muốn gặp anh nhưng không sao gặp được. Nồi chè đậu đỏ vừa nấu xong, muốn mời anh nhưng chả biết nên mở lời thế nào?
Trong đầu chợt lóe ra một cách. Chạy ra cửa, bấm chốt, cười hí hửng gõ lên cánh của phòng anh!
_ Chào nhóc! Có gì không?
_ Em ra ngoài bị gió thổi sập cửa nên không vào được, định nhờ anh cho em đi nhờ qua lan can.
Cặp mắt biết nói lại thôi miên.
_ Thôi để anh mở cho.
Hai phút sau cánh cửa bật mở, vậy là có cớ để đáp ơn “người hùng”.
Một tuần trôi qua, không thấy ai đó đi về nữa, chợt ngày đầu tuần kế, một dòng chữ ghi trên cửa.
“Đi công tác! Xin liên hệ sau 2 tuần, số phòng trên cửa chợt thêm vào một con số o, 1070”
Cười mãn nguyện….
Cứ thế thời gian trôi qua, người hàng xóm tốt bụng mời đi xem phim cuối tuần, mời đi ăn tối.Năm cuối cấp tràn ngập kỉ niệm đẹp.
Năm hai đại học, người hàng xóm không còn ở đó nữa…
Mắt cay cay vì những kỉ niệm, thời gian vẫn cứ trôi….

Giờ đã là một Bác sĩ thật sự, 1070 vẫn còn đó…..Lời hứa với anh đã thành hiện thực. Đã làm được rồi nhưng không còn anh nữa, chỉ còn một mình…..
Hôm nay lại có một người vừa dọn đến 1070, 1060 lại tràn ngập lời hát

Một người trèo qua ban công bên cạnh, một vòng tay xiết chặt một vòng tay khác, không cần nói gì cả, chỉ cần vậy thôi, như vậy thôi là đủ lắm rồi….
