Từ bài viết này trên Tuổi Trẻ về dự án 48 giờ – phim vì môi trường mà mình viết cái phản hồi dưới đây:
Tác giả của bài viết thể hiện một sự thiên vị quá đáng khi nâng nhóm Fast Food Film lên tận mây xanh với nội dung phim đọc qua cũng biết mang phong cách nhảm thường thấy của Hollywood: “cậu siêu nhân muốn cứu hành tinh để chinh phục một cô gái“. Không biết ngoài thông tin, hình ảnh từ nhóm Fast Food Film tác giả có tìm hiểu nỗ lực và thông điệp trong phim dự thi của các đội Việt Nam còn lại?
Điển hình là phim thứ hai được tác giả nhắc trong bài viết “That’s the way it is” mang ý nghĩa “Thế thôi!” thể hiện triết lý nhân quả nhãn tiền cô đọng mà nhóm Young Media muốn truyền tải lại được tác giả nhìn bằng con mắt “hẹp” và phán thô “Đó là như thế“.
Vòng chung kết của cuộc thi được xác định bằng cách chọn 8 phim được “vote” nhiều nhất và 8 phim do Ban giám khảo quyết định. Thật khó để biết các nhà chuyên môn chọn phim nào và cơ hội cho Việt Nam là rất thấp. Đường tắt để 2 chữ Việt Nam (xin nhấn mạnh: “Việt Nam” đến từ Việt Nam chứ không phải đến từ Pháp hay một quốc gia nào khác như sự kiện giáo sư Ngô Bảo Châu vừa qua) được nhắc đến trong sự kiện quốc tế trẻ trung này chỉ bằng cách “Vote” thật nhiều, giống như kiểu đôi lần Việt Nam được giải Hoa hậu được yêu thích nhất qua mạng để lọt vào Top mười mấy của quốc tế, kiếm điểm trên bản đồ nhan sắc thế giới.
Thực tại của Việt Nam là phim nhảm lên ngôi, mùa tết vừa qua phần đông dư luận và báo chí khen nức nở “Cô dâu Đại chiến”, và dĩ nhiên đạo diễn Victor Vũ được cộng thêm một vé tại Cánh Diều Vàng. Giả sử bộ phim hài nhảm này có giải, mấy ai trong giới chuyên môn vui mừng trừ đơn vị sản xuất và ê kíp làm phim?
Quay trở lại với việc tác giả bài viết đã tâng tiu, nâng nhóm Fast Food Film lên hạng nhất với kịch bản nhảm nhảm theo kiểu “nhái phim này một tí, nhại phim kia một tẹo” thông qua câu chuyện của anh chàng siêu nhân ích kỷ suốt phần lớn nội dung bài viết, sau cùng không quên dành phần nho nhỏ còn lại để dìm các đội khác xuống hạng bét (chẳng có gì để xem hoặc mơ hồ) trên một tờ báo chính thống lớn nhất nước là đang gây tổn hại cho những đội dự thi đến từ Việt Nam như: Blue, Left at the Cow, Young Media, The K6 Gang. Cuộc thi này đòi hỏi các tác phẩm có ý tưởng và ý nghĩa cao hơn là sự giải trí thuần túy. Cuộc thi này là sự đua tài của tuổi trẻ quốc tế với nhau, chứ không phải quanh quẩn giữa mấy anh Việt Nam mà tác giả cần phải vội vàng cho “gà nhà đá nhau” như thế?
Với tác phẩm dự thi của nhóm Fast Food Film, Chúng ta tìm được giá trị nhân văn gì trong câu chuyện của anh chàng siêu nhân lố bịch phong cách Megamind mặc quần chíp đỏ chét ngoài cùng và thắt khăn caro ở cổ kiểu Hàn Quốc? Cứu hành tinh cũng chỉ khởi phát từ bản năng giới tính của anh ta, vì mục đích lấy lòng một cô gái? Nhưng vì nó là sản phẩm của một nhóm đông đúc hơn hai chục thành viên và anh đạo diễn mới học làm phim ở trời Mỹ về nên dễ bề PR cái sự “hay” qua hình thức chải chuốt khiến phần đông khán giả quên đi việc tìm hiểu giá trị sâu sắc của nó là gì chăng?
Có thể tác phẩm của các đội còn lại cũng không có gì đặc sắc, khi mà họ thiếu cả thời gian và không gian để diễn tả thông điệp của mình về một đề tài quá vĩ mô. Họ chỉ mới tạo được những tác phẩm có lớp vỏ bọc xù xì khó dẫn dắt người xem cảm nhận trọn vẹn ý tưởng phim và thông điệp muốn gửi gắm.
Tôi không đặc biệt ưu ái một phim nào từ 5 tác phẩm dự thi có xuất xứ Việt Nam. Phản hồi này chỉ thể hiện sự bất bình, thậm chí là bực tức của tôi khi thấy sự không công tâm của tác giả bài viết, chị ấy đứng từ góc nhìn của một đội dự thi để phán xét toàn cục, sau đó khu biệt cái dở cái chán của những bạn trẻ Việt Nam đam mê làm phim bằng một ngòi bút phiến diện.
Và tất nhiên sự kiện này cũng chẳng có gì to tát, nếu có giải thưởng gắn liền với chữ Việt Nam thì là niềm vui nho nhỏ cho một số người trong một cộng đồng chung niềm đam mê. Nghĩ hẹp theo kiểu tác giả cũng đơn thuần là thể hiện quan điểm riêng, cá tính và tầm hiểu biết của chị ấy. Tôi không có quyền cấm cản. Nhưng đính kèm trong bài những toan tính lộ liễu và “chơi không đẹp” thì chỉ nên đăng trên trang cá nhân, khi đã đại diện cho tờ báo yêu thích của tôi phát ngôn, thì tôi nghĩ mình cần phải tích cực phản đối, phản đối kịch liệt.
Tôi gửi phản hồi cho TT với tư cách độc giả, có thể BBT không trích đăng vì cái kiểu bé xé ra to của tôi, nhưng tôi ghi nhận ban biên tập đã đọc. Thế thôi!
Ngoài lề: Dự án 48gogreen có 10 đề tài được phát ngẫu nhiên cho mỗi đội tham dự: Save the Environment/ Water/ Forest/ Animals/ Earth/ Next Generation/ Energy/ Sea/ Planet và Free Choice. Cuộc thi này dù dán mác ngoại nhưng theo đánh giá của ta thì không minh bạch cho lắm.
Muốn Vote cho phim phải đăng ký làm thành viên và khi đã thao tác xong thì không hề thấy chế độ hiển thị kết quả đã vote (như trên youtube chẳng hạn). Bởi vậy ta nghi kết quả vote sẽ được công bố theo sở thích của Ban tổ chức lắm á.

Chuyện ở đời giống như tảng băng trôi
Thường phần nổi là những cái thể hiện ra ngoài chỉ chiếm 3 phần.
Còn 7 phần chìm dưới cái sự: “để giành được tình yêu, anh phải cứu hành tinh” chắc chắn là “để có được cái Lờ, anh phải tụt được cái wần (kỳ dị) của mình”… oài!

Khen chê là chuyện bình thường mà. Tuy nhiên cái bài viết đó có mấy điểm sai về mặt thông tin cần đính chính đó

–> thật ra là các phim đăng ký thi theo nhóm online đều được bình chọn online, các nhóm thi theo thành phố ở Mỹ do BGK ở từng thành phố bình chon, chứ không phải kiểu tâm lý tiểu nhược “chúng ta chỉ có thể chiến thắng bằng vote vì BGK ko đánh giá cao phim VN”. 8 đội được chọn từ nhóm online và 8 đội do BGK bình chọn hoàn toàn tách biệt. Từ 16 phim này, BGK sẽ quyết định chọn ra 5 đội. Từ 5 đội này, khán giả lại tiếp tục bình chọn cho ba phim hay nhất.
2. “Cuộc thi này đòi hỏi các tác phẩm có ý tưởng và ý nghĩa cao hơn là sự giải trí thuần túy”. (icon: Ôi lạy chúa!)
–> Trong tất cả những trang mục tự giới thiệu của cuộc chơi này, không hề có chỗ nào ghi “đòi hỏi các tác phẩm có ý tưởng và ý nghĩa cao hơn là sự giải trí thuần túy”. Có chăng, là ca khúc chủ đề của cuộc chơi này là I have a better weekend then yours – tao có một cuối tuần hay ho hơn của tụi mày – bởi cuộc chơi này đánh giá cao sự sáng tạo, tinh thần đoàn kết và niềm đam mê phim ảnh.
The competition focuses on team work and the creative coming-together of filmmakers, on preparation, flexibility, and most importantly the creativity to get your story on the screen.
STORY – chứ không phải MESSAGE. Trong một email dặn dò khác của BTC, họ cũng đặc biệt đề cập đây là một cuộc thi làm phim, khuyến khích các bộ phim có CÂU CHUYỆN chứ không phải là các PSA (PUCBLIC SERVICE ADVERTISEMENT) tức các kiểu quảng cáo gửi thông điệp kêu gọi bảo vệ môi trường.
- “Có thể tác phẩm của các đội còn lại cũng không có gì đặc sắc, khi mà họ thiếu cả thời gian và không gian để diễn tả thông điệp của mình về một đề tài quá vĩ mô”.
–> Erhhh… không lẽ nhóm tui làm 72 tiếng?
Cuối cùng, những nhận xét cảm tính, quy chụp kiểu không tìm ra giá trị nhân văn, đây chỉ là một phim nhảm, bài viết trên báo TT là một bài viết đầy toan tính v.v… thì tui không bình luận thêm, hehehe, ai cũng có quyền tự do thích nói gì thì nói, thích nghĩ gì thì nghĩ, nếu tui thấy quan trọng ảnh hưởng tới tui thì tui hồi đáp, còn không thì thôi, mình đứng ngó chơi chỉ có mấy cái fact ở trên thì phải đính chính kẻo bà con tưởng tụi tui được ưu ái làm nhiều giờ hơn người khác, mà lại phải kêu gọi vote vì sợ ban giám khảo không chọn mình thôi
Cuối cùng, tui kêu gọi vậy thôi chớ bình chọn phim 1 sao, 5 sao là quyền của các bạn ha. Tui chỉ mong cách bạn quan tâm tới phim của tui, khen chê tự do, nhận xét tự do, tui lắng nghe góp ý hết (icon: fuck mém sập giường)
