Một cây cao bóng cả như Xuân Diệu cũng có lúc thảng thốt “cơm áo không đùa với khách thơ”, nên từ lâu nhiều người đã hình dung tương đối đầy đủ sự nhọc nhằn mưu sinh của giới cầm bút. Dù vẫn hay ngó dọc ngó ngang đời sống văn nghệ, tôi cũng chưa từng nghĩ sẽ viết về đồng nghiệp mình ở góc khuất đầy thổn thức ấy. Thế nhưng, khi cuốn lịch năm Kỷ Sửu được gỡ đi những tờ cuối cùng, tôi bỗng muốn “tư duy lại tương lai” bên bàn trà mùa xuân như một cách sẻ chia lặng lẽ!

K. chỉ mới bước qua tuổi 20, cái độ tuổi đầy tự tin và cũng lắm ngộ nhận, rất dễ để thiên hạ thông cảm cho bất kỳ sự kiêu hãnh quá mức cần thiết nào. Tuy nhiên, nếu K. vẫn là một nhân viên bình thường của một công ty quảng cáo thì chắc mọi điều xảy ra xung quanh K. đã được chính K. lý giải bằng ánh mắt nhẹ nhàng và thân thiện hơn.
Đằng này, khi phong trào viết blog dâng cao, thì K. cũng nhảy lên mạng làm một blogger hý hoáy viết những chuyện tình của mình và những chuyện tình nghe được… đâu đó rồi phóng đại theo chiều hướng éo le. Cơ duyên trùng hợp, những nhà đầu nậu tinh khôn bỗng dưng phát hiện thị trường sách đang cần vài “món lạ” để kích thích nhu cầu bạn đọc, nên những entry của K. ngỡ chỉ nhằm lôi kéo các comment hào hứng đã được in thành ấn phẩm rực rỡ.
Áp dụng chiêu thức PR quen tay, K. tiếp thị ấn phẩm của mình không khác gì… những bộ phim không khuyến khích trẻ vị thành niên. Phải thừa nhận, K. biết cách khơi dậy sự tò mò ở độc giả tuổi teen nên sách của cô cũng phát hành khá rôm rả. Mới vừa qua một giấc ngủ đã đột ngột trở thành… nhà văn, khiến K. bắt đầu có dấu hiệu của một vì sao sắp tỏa sáng về vùng trời xa lắc. K. bỏ bê việc làm ở công ty để dành thời gian chuẩn bị váy áo và chụp ảnh cho các cuộc phỏng vấn chớp nhoáng của các phóng viên thính nhạy những chuyện giật gân.
Những lời khuyên nhủ hay nhắc nhở từ phía đồng nghiệp và giám đốc nơi K. đang được trả lương vẫn không có cách nào chui lọt vào đôi tai đang háo hức bao lời khen có cánh của cô. Kết quả tất yếu, khi cuốn sách thứ hai được góp nhặt từ những entry vội vã của K. xuất hiện thì K. cũng bị… đuổi việc.
Không một chút hối hận, cũng không một chút day dứt, K. quay lưng từ giã nhiệm sở sau khi tung ra một số câu khinh miệt và tự phụ. Thông cảm với một cô gái trẻ sẽ có nguy cơ bẽ bàng vì hư danh chữ nghĩa, vài đồng nghiệp đã nói thẳng ra rằng những cái entry mà K. tưởng là truyện ngắn, thực chất chỉ mang bóng dáng những cuộc tình lừa bịp vẫn thường in ở mục “Chuyện cảnh giác” trên các báo mà thôi.
K. không tin, K. cho rằng đó là những lời xúc xiểm vừa xuất phát từ sự ghen ghét với tài năng hé lộ của K., vừa xuất phát từ sự đố kị với sự nổi tiếng vùn vụt của K. Mấy đồng nhuận bút làm sao chống chọi với giá cả chóng mặt ở đô thị, mỗi ngày K. không thể đem mấy dòng be bé về mình trên báo ra ngắm nghía mà sống mãi được, K. quyết định tiếp tục đi làm.
Tự cho phép mình không còn giống cô gái nhút nhát ngày xưa, K. làm đơn xin việc theo kiểu… người của công chúng. Hồ sơ xin việc của K. dày cộm, bao gồm cả album ảnh cá nhân với mọi góc độ chụp, lẫn những lời ngọt lạt biểu dương K. được sưu tầm từ các nguồn thông tin, và đặc biệt là phần tự giới thiệu theo phương pháp “không gây sốc không ăn tiền”.
Văn nhân đang hồi hộp đợi khoảnh khắc lừng danh thời @ mở đầu đơn xin việc như sau: “Khi nghe tôi thất nghiệp, người này bảo: Chỉ có K. đuổi việc chủ, chứ chủ nào mà đuổi việc K. Khi nghe tôi thất nghiệp, người kia nói: Bây giờ K. có tên tuổi như thế, ai mà đủ tiền trả lương. Khi nghe tôi thất nghiệp, người nọ bàn: Chỗ làm cũ quá khiêm tốn so với tài năng của K../ Vì vậy, nếu quý công ty là một doanh nghiệp vững vàng hội nhập kinh tế toàn cầu, thì tôi chắc chắn là một ứng viên hợp lý cho chức trưởng phòng sáng tạo!”.
Tôi không phải ông chủ tuyển dụng nhân sự, nên không biết phải ứng xử thế nào với cái đơn xin việc hùng hồn kia. Chỉ biết, mãi vẫn chưa thấy công ty nào mời K. làm việc. Gần đây nhất, vị giám đốc một công ty mà K. nộp đơn xin việc đã lắc đầu như vẫn chưa hết kinh ngạc: “Tớ có uống cả lít mật gấu cũng không dám nhận cô ấy vào làm nhân viên!”.
Trường hợp của K. giúp tôi nhớ đến một đồng nghiệp cũ tên Đ. Đó là dạo nhà báo Chánh Trinh thực hiện một tờ tin nhanh bóng đá, có mời tôi đến cộng tác. Bản tính hào hiệp nên nghe nói Đ vốn có tài làm thơ nhưng đang gặp khó khăn về kinh tế, nhà báo Chánh Trinh cũng kêu Đ. tham gia.
Ngay ngày đầu tiên nhận việc, Đ. huyên thuyên về khả năng ngoại ngữ của mình rằng: “Em toàn đọc sách triết học đúng bản in của phương Tây ấy chứ!”. Nhà báo Chánh Trinh tin tưởng, giao cho Đ. một bài bình luận bóng đá cắt ra từ tạp chí tiếng Anh và đề nghị chuyển ngữ.
Chưa đầy 15 phút, Đ. nộp bài. Nhà báo Chánh Trinh trố mắt so giữa bản dịch của Đ và bản gốc, mất tới 15 phút vẫn không thể tìm ra sự tương đồng nội dung giữa hai văn bản. Tháo cặp kính ra lau đi lau lại, nhà báo Chánh Trinh đành chuyển mối hoài nghi về chính bản thân: “Hay là tui đã giao cho cậu Đ một bản khác nhỉ?”.
Để tìm hiểu thực hư, tôi trực tiếp hỏi Đ. Nhà thơ trẻ thích đùa cười he he: “Tớ chỉ nhìn… cái hình và cái tên cầu thủ để viết một bài khác! Chứ có dịch gì đâu!”. Tôi muốn té xỉu khi nghe Đ. giải thích. Vậy mà Đ. vẫn hồn nhiên tiếp tục nhận vai trò dịch thuật, có điều cậu ta khiêm tốn hơn một chút, chỉ xin… dịch tin tức. Và cách tác nghiệp của Đ. cực kỳ… lý thú.
Cái bản tin chưa tới trăm chữ, nhưng Đ. lật tới lật lui cuốn từ điển Anh – Việt cả giờ đồng hồ. Có khi mệt quá, Đ. bèn gọi điện cho… vợ. Với cung cách lạc quan, Đ. khai thác trình độ ngoại ngữ của vợ để phục vụ cho nghề dịch tin tức của mình bằng câu đố tiểu xảo: “Thách em biết chữ này có nghĩa là gì đấy…”.
Cứ thế, Đ. nhờ vợ dịch tin cho mình suốt một mùa bóng đá, và nhận được thù lao đầy thông cảm của nhà báo Chánh Trinh: “Tui phải chấm nhuận bút những cái tin ký tên Đ. cao hơn một chút vì đó là công sức của hai vợ chồng!”. Nhiều năm rồi tôi không gặp Đ., chẳng biết Đ. còn hành nghề dịch thuật theo kỹ năng tuyệt đỉnh ngày xưa không?
Dù có trách giận hay bực bội thì sự lao động của Đ. nói chung cũng đáng thương. Tuy hạn chế nghiệp vụ, nhưng Đ. không dối gạt ai mà cũng không hề hống hách với ai. Ngược lại, nhà thơ trẻ H. luôn khiến người cộng sự với anh khiếp hãi. Bố của H. là bạn thân của tổng biên tập một tờ báo lớn nên chẳng khó khăn gì cậu ta được nhận làm phóng viên.
Vậy mà, suốt mấy năm đi đâu cũng xưng là nhà báo, H. chẳng viết được bài nào ra hồn. Vì sao? Vì H. cho rằng mình là nhà thơ tầm cỡ, viết tin văn nghệ thì không xứng tầm mà viết điểm sách thì nền văn học hiện đại chẳng có cuốn sách nào đủ để H. bận tâm.
Ngày này qua ngày khác, H. ngạo nghễ đi vào đi ra và ăn to nói lớn ở tòa soạn. Dẫu rất nể bố của H. là bạn lâu năm của tổng biên tập, nhưng những người cùng cơ quan không thể nào chấp nhận thói lười nhác mà vĩ cuồng của H. Quả nhiên, ông tổng biên tập sau đó cũng hiểu rằng chẳng cách nào dung túng H. lâu hơn. Bị mất việc vì lý do đơn giản như vậy, nhưng H. lại ra vỉa hè vung tay chửi bới um xùm rằng mình phải rời tòa soạn vì… làm thơ quá cách tân.
Trong số những người nghe H. than vãn cũng có người sơ ý… mắc bẫy. Một ông chủ công ty sách thấy H. mang danh nhà thơ nên nhờ viết một cuốn sách về những bạn trẻ thành đạt, và hào phóng ứng trước cho H. số tiền 10 triệu đồng. H. cầm tiền tổ chức nhậu nhẹt tưng bừng, nâng ly ngất ngưởng kiểu Lý Bạch rằng: “Trời đã sinh ta ắt dùng tài, ngàn vàng tiêu hết lại về tay”. Chờ mấy tháng không thấy H. thực hiện hợp đồng, ông chủ công ty sách gọi điện giục.
Khất hẹn mấy lần, H. mang đến một tập bản thảo được in ra từ… các báo. Ông chủ công ty sách tá hỏa khi thấy những gì H nộp chỉ copy lại trên mạng, chứ không hề thêm thắt bất kỳ chữ nào. Biết rằng có đòi lại tiền thì H. cũng không có trả, ông chủ công ty sách đành thở dài ngao ngán cho một lần lầm lỡ trong đời kinh doanh…
Xuất thân nông thôn, nhưng V. không có chút cặm cụi nào của những người chân lấm tay bùn. Tốt nghiệp đại học, V. rong chơi và làm thơ. V. dương dương tự đắc: “Tuổi trẻ có bao lâu, phải thỏa chí tang bồng cái đã!”. Bên cạnh đam mê thi phú, V. cũng đam mê xe hơi. Nhiều người độ lượng từng đoán gần đoán xa V. sẽ đổi đời khi thấy cậu ta bỏ ra nửa năm để học lái ôtô.
Cầm giấy phép lái xe, V. lại lang thang quán xá và bốc phét. Sốt ruột vì con trai, bà mẹ của V khuyên con kiếm việc làm. Chẳng biết suy nghĩ bao lâu, một hôm V. gặp tôi thông báo như Columbus tìm ra châu Mỹ: “Tớ sẽ in thông tin tìm việc lên báo, bảo đảm sẽ có người thuê!”.
Tiếc là, tốn chi phí in báo cả tháng trời, V. vẫn lấy vỉa hè làm nơi thăng hoa trí tưởng tượng vô biên. Hơi thắc mắc, tôi lục lại đống báo cũ, thấy V in quảng cáo như sau: “V., trình độ đại học. Thông minh, tinh tế, sắc sảo. Nhận lái xe cho tổng giám đốc trở lên!”. Ôi trời ơi, có phải ai có xe hơi ở đất nước này cũng có chức vụ từ “tổng giám đốc trở lên” đâu!
Nhân không khí mùa xuân thường bàn chuyện tài lộc, tôi nói về cuộc mưu sinh đầy lâm ly của các cây bút trẻ, chẳng phải để mỉa mai hay khích bác, mà để khẳng định thêm một lần nữa rằng kinh tế thị trường không có chỗ cho những ngộ nhận. Giữa con người văn chương và con người xã hội cần có sự tách bạch rõ ràng trong một tương quan phù hợp. Thế kỷ XXI đã trôi qua được một thập niên rồi, cơm áo thực sự không đùa với não trạng văn hóa bấp bênh đâu!

Haha… Văn chương chữ trước Đan Mạch chữ sau. “Giữa con người văn chương và con người xã hội cần có sự tách bạch rõ ràng trong một tương quan phù hợp” thì mang đời tư của người ta vào đây làm gi?!
HTH thử cắt nghĩa theo phong cách của Phiếm chợ về cái tên “Lê Thiếu Nhơn” -> “Lê Thiếu Nhân” -> “Sinh vật cao cấp còn thiếu … phần “NHÂN” lại mắc bệnh chứng bệnh “hay lê la” -> Vậy “Lê Thiếu Nhơn” tức là ko phải là Người…hẳn hoi nên không thể là Người đoàng hoàng được, đúng không hỡi các Kenger! Đề nghị các Kenger khác cho ý kiến thêm nhé về cái Tên …chưa hẳn hoi này nhé! HTH đang ngồi trainning mà vẫn phải …lên tiếng, bực mình quá!?

không biết chuyện về chị Keng đúng hay sai, mà bài viết nhảm như vậy cũng in trên báo Công An Nhân Dân thì đành tạm kết luận:
1. báo chính thống và nhà báo lão làng giờ chỉ tuyền ghen tỵ, soi mói, dìm hàng người trẻ.
2. chị Keng đã từng làm tác giả tổn thương, khiến anh ta hận đến tận chân tơ kẽ tóc, nên mới bê chuyện đời tư của chị lên mặt báo.
Đúng thế, “Thám tử” LTL có 1 phát hiện rất tinh tế!

Dĩ nhiên, tài lý trưởng thì không nên làm xếp quan huyện. Vị giám đốc ấy đã rất biết người biết ta.
Trích dẫn lời giám đốc nhằm đưa quyền lực vào làm tăng độ phổ quát cho một cái chuẩn rất riêng (điều kiện tuyển dụng nhân sự của một công ty) : đánh tráo khái niệm hay lừa bịp.
Dùng chuẩn đó làm thước đo để phê phán một cô gái chỉ mới bước qua tuổi hai mươi : quá ác độc.

Giới xuất bản và phát hành là cầu nối đưa tác phẩm đến với công chúng, khiến tác giả có xiền và được nổi danh. Danh nhiều hay ít lệ thuộc tài ba tác giả. Xiền ít hay nhiều do tác giả ngu hay khôn (“Thế kỷ XXI đã trôi qua được một thập niên rồi, cơm áo thực sự không đùa với não trạng văn hóa bấp bênh đâu!”). Nay được gọi là “đầu nậu”, các các bác xuất bản và phát hành có bùn không nhỉ? Và văn nhơn gọi những chiếc cầu nối giữa mình với công chúng như thế có vô ơn ko ta?!
Nếu đúng K. là Keng như nhiều bạn tỏ ý nghi ngờ, thì Nhà xuất bản Văn Nghệ TP. HCM, Nhà xuất bản Văn Học chính là những “đầu nậu tinh khôn”. Gọi hai cơ quan Nhà nước chuyên về xuất bản như thế thì ún bao nhiêu mét khối mật gấu đây ta?!
PS : Tớ thấy lác đác có vài chỗ viết tắt. Xin chú ý hộ (để ý giùm) vụ LTL và LTN nhé. Nhất là Keng. Nam Định quê mình nà hay nẫn nộn nung tung nờ nò nắm í. Xin cảm ơn!
Nếu khẳng định K. là Keng thì thực sự tác giả LTN viết không có sai, chỉ lệch đi 1 tý, cộng thêm 1 tý thôi à. Đành phải kể lại một câu chuyện không hư cấu!
Thường là bạn K. rất ít chủ động apply, chỉ toàn post tè le hột me CV lên mạng, rồi ai thích gọi thì gọi. Tháng 9/2009 là lần đầu tiên trong đời bạn K. hăm hở gửi hồ sơ cho GĐ 1 công ty quảng cáo (vì tự thấy mình nắm khá rõ nội tình của công ty ý). Dạm ngõ chỉ là những câu chữ đề nghị 1 cơ hội phỏng vấn + đường link clip CV trên youtube thông qua email. Một tuần sau là buổi gặp gỡ anh GĐ công ty từ 9h30 đến 12h30 với tính chất phỏng vấn nhưng thực tế là tám chuyện. Anh GĐ đó hỏi về mức lương, bạn K. đề nghị 10tr (vì K. không có nhiều kinh nghiệm để đòi > 1000$), hỏi tiếp bao giờ có thể đi làm, bạn K. bảo luôn sẵn sàng. Cuối cùng anh GĐ nói: CD là một vị trí cực kỳ quan trọng trong cty QC nên cần cân nhắc thêm, hẹn trong vòng 1 tuần sẽ trả lời chắc chắn. Kết thúc, bạn K. mới gửi lại 1 CD bao gồm những job đã làm cho công ty người ta có cơ sở cân nhắc, tặng kèm 1 cuốn Dị Bản vì thấy anh GĐ tỏ vẻ rất quý mến mình.

Kể từ ngày đó bạn K. liên tiếp nhận được điện thoại, sms từ anh GĐ đó về những chuyện chả liên quan đến việc mình apply. Ban đầu còn nhiệt tình lắm lắm, nhưng được vài ngày thì bạn K. hem nhận cuộc gọi, hem reply tin nhắn và del cả contact lun. Hết hạn 1 tuần dĩ nhiên bạn K. nhận được mail từ chối của anh GĐ ấy. Bạn K. hiểu lẽ thường tình là phải mail lại: cảm ơn và hẹn dịp khác, song lòng không hề mong một dịp nào nữa, nên quên luôn cả hành động lịch sự đó. Nghĩ cũng thấy mình bỉ lắm cơ!
Tháng 10/2009, bạn K. chủ động apply lần thứ 2 trong đời vào 1 công ty PR, và đi làm sau 1 tuần phỏng vấn (lần này thì không có gửi CD, không tặng sách gì hết á).
Nhưng chuyện vẫn còn tiếp với anh GĐ đã từ chối bạn K. dạo nọ. Vì không còn lưu contact nên hơn 1 lần anh GĐ ấy gọi điện hỏi chuyện, bạn K. còn hồn nhiên hỏi lại: “xin lỗi, ai vậy ạ?”. Cho đến gần Tết con cọp, tự dưng anh GĐ đó mời đi ăn trưa, cũng muốn biết người mời định nói gì với mình nên nhận lời. Tự tổng kết thì thấy ý tứ anh GĐ trong bữa trưa đó trọn gói là: “muốn được làm anh em với bạn K. về lâu dài”. Tất lẽ bạn K. đâu có supper chảnh đến mức từ chối. Khi anh GĐ nhắc lại chuyện cũ, tỏ ý tiếc nuối vì công ty của gia đình nên không có toàn quyền quyết định việc hợp tác với bạn K., tính nết leng keng thường trực trong máu nên bạn K. mau mắn trả lời: “Vì thấy anh quan tâm đến chuyện khác hơn nên em mới ngừng liên lạc”. Cuộc gặp này diễn ra trước ngày xuất bản bài báo trên khoảng 3 tuần. Huyền cơ gì bên trong thì bạn K. hem quan tâm.
Thôi, bây giờ không viết tắt nữa! Keng đọc được bài báo trên 2 ngày trước, do một chị vô hỏi: Keng có ân oán giang hồ gì với LTN không vậy? Mình nói: có từng gặp ảnh 2 lần, mà không xảy ra chuyện gì cả. Chị ấy kể hình như trước tết đọc 1 bài báo LTN viết về Keng, kiểu như: Keng thất nghệp, Keng đi xin việc. Sau đó anh giám đốc công ty quảng cáo nói chuyện với tác giả bài báo về sự hoang tưởng và tự tin thái quá của Keng; khoác lác gì đó về nghề; đưa blog vào CV; rồi đòi mức lương khủng khiếp; xong anh GĐ này không nhận v.v… Gần đây chị ấy có dịp gặp mặt LTN thì ý nghĩ đầu tiên là nhớ về bài báo nọ. Keng phải năn nỉ mãi chị ấy mới search link cho.
Đọc xong bài báo cũng chẳng có gì bực tức, chỉ buồn cười vì nhân vật được xây dựng rất final fantasy. Kể ra cũng vui, vì vốn dĩ mình sống hơi tẻ nhạt, chả biết hâm nóng tình cảm với ai bao giờ, hay phát ngôn động chạm tự ái người (các bạn của Keng nhận xét thế!), nên được tô vẽ thêm màu sắc khác thì tốt thôi mà! Câu chuyện không hư cấu ở trên cũng chỉ mới lộ 5 phần sự thật. 5 phần còn lại để dành cho ai thích hư cấu thì thỏa sức mà tưởng tượng! keke…
