Vẫn đi trên con đường tình với những yêu thương của chính mình trong cuộc sống hiện đại, “Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” tiếp nối hành trình của 2 tác phẩm trước – nhưng gần hơn, thật hơn bằng chính những khát vọng về tương lai, hạnh phúc của một cô gái để rồi lãng quên âm thầm khi tình yêu đó qua đời. Chỉ là kể một chuyện tình, thậm chí nhân vật còn chẳng có tên, giữa họ là Em và Anh, là Tôi và Người,… như trong một kiểu nhật ký. Nhưng xót xa thay đó là nhật ký về một tình yêu đã qua đời!
“Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” – Là cách tìm lại tình yêu – giản đơn là một tình yêu chật vật, khi người đã chai cứng sau bao thương tổn của một quá khứ mờ xa. Song những ám ảnh, những rào cản, những tự kỷ khiến tình yêu đã chết yểu và rồi người lại trôi hoang về miền vô nghĩa – nơi chỉ có thể vọng ngóng một tình yêu khác sẽ đến…

Dự định thời gian tới sẽ chuyển hướng sáng tác sang những đề tài khác, nên “Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” là ấn phẩm cuối cùng trong bộ 3 “Truyện của Keng” viết về tình yêu và cuộc sống của những người trẻ.

“Nước mắt không phải khóc cho những điều đã qua mà khóc cho những điều chẳng thể nào qua trong đời”, “Anh dẫu có yêu em cho kiệt cùng nông nổi, thì thời gian cũng sẽ cuốn trôi những dại cuồng” – những dòng chữ trên trang bìa này đã đập vào mắt khiến các ngón tay tôi phải lần giở vài trang của cuốn sách trước mặt.
KENG – một tác giả mới nổi được khá nhiều người biết đến với cuốn Truyện của KENG: Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước. Và tôi cũng bị thu hút bởi những cảm xúc mà tác giả trình bày ngay đầu cuốn sách, vậy là tôi mua!
Tôi đã bị cuốn đến mê mải trước mẩu ghi chép đầu tiên (tất cả những gì tác giả gọi là “truyện” trong cuốn này, thực ra theo tôi chỉ là những mẩu ghi chép vụn vặt về những cảm xúc ngắn ngủn, được cố ý khoác lên một cốt truyện cũng ngắn ngủn), vì khi ấy tôi thấy tác giả có nhiều cái giông giống mình.
Tôi cứ nghĩ mình đã thực sự tìm được một cuốn sách vào đúng thời điểm mình cần đến nhất! Nhưng, luôn có những điều đáng tiếc xảy đến, ngay cả với những cảm giác! Cuốn sách không hẳn như những gì tôi đã mong đợi.
Tôi thích sự trau chuốt trong văn phong. Sự ngắn gọn trong cảm xúc. Tôi thích những sự khép lại gọn gàng và nhất là: Đừng giải thích! Cuốn sách là một sự trình bày và mô tả những cảm xúc. Tuy vậy, nó vẽ ra thực sự một con người – một người con gái cô đơn, khao khát được yêu thương theo-đúng-cách-mà-cô-ấy-khao-khát.
Cô ấy xứng đáng được khao khát, bởi bấy kỳ người đàn ông nào, nhưng lại là nỗi sợ hãi của bất cứ ai, khi họ buộc phải nghĩ đến chuyện gắn bó cuộc đời mình với cô. Bởi cô khác lạ. Bởi cô không đơn thuần chỉ biết nhõng nhẽo, cô còn biết đòi hỏi. Người con gái biết đòi hỏi là người con gái hiểu được rất rõ giá trị bản thân mình.
Nhưng người con gái biết đòi hỏi thường cô đơn. Người con gái biết đòi hỏi thường là nỗi lo của đàn ông. Vì đàn ông vốn sợ trách nhiệm. Lại càng sợ cam kết. Dù rằng họ rất kiêng nể những cô gái biết đòi hỏi, biết đánh giá đúng bản thân và biết làm mình mạnh mẽ.
Những mẩu chuyện của Keng chắc không đơn thuần chỉ là hư cấu. Có lẽ có rất nhiều phần của cô ấy trong đó. Có cảm giác truyện như một thứ nhật ký để ngỏ. Mà nhật ký thì người ta không có quyền phán xét ^^!
Thật ngại, vì mình đã hơi lắm lời. Nhưng cũng thật cảm ơn một cuốn sách. Vì một vài trang sách của nó đã đem đến cho mình nhiều sự đồng cảm.

Tôi đã khen cuốn Hồng Gai của Keng nhưng cuốn này thực sự làm tôi không muốn động thêm vào bất kỳ tác phẩm của Keng nữa. Đây là một cuốn sách không hay, dù đã ít sex hơn nhưng vẫn không hay!
Những câu chuyện trong Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước không thể gọi là dở nhưng Keng là một tác giả không biết viết chuyện, những gì cô viết như đang viết blog. Và tôi mua một cuốn sách về để đọc văn học chứ không đọc những dòng tâm sự trên blog mà cô viết ra.
Những gì cô viết chỉ có thể coi như tạp văn, hiếm hoi lắm mới khơi gợi được chút tình của độc giả. Đọc xong 9 truyện ngắn một cách nhanh chóng và những gì để lại trong lòng tôi ra: Tôi đã quên sạch sau khi gấp sách lại.
Như thế, tâm huyết của Keng không còn đọng lại gì trong lòng đọc giả nữa…
Xuyên suốt cuốn tình yêu này là một giọng văn đượm buồn sâu lắng, đó là những chuyện tình dang dở, là những dòng tâm sự sâu kín mà Keng thể hiện qua những câu từ ngôn ngữ.
Bởi vì đây là một cuốn “Nhật ký tình yêu đã qua đời” nên hầu hết các câu chuyện đều có một kết thúc không được viên mãn, là sự mất mát, là tổn thương sau một tình yêu không trọn vẹn. Qua mỗi câu chuyện ngắn là một sự mất niềm tin ở tình yêu, nhưng đâu đó vẫn còn le lói một tia sáng hy vọng vào tình yêu của những ngày sau
Đọc để cảm nhận, để thấy rõ tình yêu có muôn màu muôn vạn, chẳng ai giống ai, chẳng có nỗi đau nào như nỗi đau nào…
