Trong mùa hè 2009, sẽ ra mắt 2 cuốn sách tiếp nối mạch Truyện của KENG với hai phong cách khác nhau:
* Cuốn thứ nhất tựa: “Hồng Gai” – [về nhan sắc danh giá phù phiếm] do ChiBooks và NXB Văn Học phối hợp thực hiện, hệ thống Fahasa phát hành độc quyền .
* Cuốn thứ hai tựa: “Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” – [nhật ký tình yêu đã qua đời] do NXB Văn Nghệ mua bản quyền tác phẩm.
Kế hoạch in Hồng Gai nằm trong tháng 6, Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước có lẽ sẽ xuất hiện sau đó khoảng một tháng. Lẽ ra dự định sẽ in từ đầu năm, nhưng do nhiều vấn đề chủ quan nên đến giờ mới chuẩn bị chào đời được. Oe…. oeeeeee….
Quen với việc đặt Sub-title từ “Chỉ đọc khi tuổi đã 18” với Dị Bản. Nên 2 tác phẩm liên kế trong bộ Truyện của Keng sẽ vẫn được đính kèm một sub-title 7 từ, để bạn đọc trông mặt mà bắt hình dong phía sau bìa sách.

HỒNG GAI
-về nhan sắc danh giá phù phiếm-
Tôi viết Hồng Gai bởi những trăn trở về số phận của nhan sắc. Như một phần cuộc đời mình đã chứng kiến muôn vàn cám dỗ, sa ngã, thăng trầm và cả sự khinh bạc của người đời dành cho kiếp hồng nhan.
Trời cho một nhan sắc, hiển nhiên là điều danh giá ở đời.
Nhưng tất thảy đều quá phù phiếm, khi người trước ngưỡng tàn phai.
Trong Hồng Gai là sự tái hiện thời xuân sắc của hai số phận nữ nhân giữa nhịp sống xô bồ, hiện đại bằng trí nhớ. Một ký ức chẳng gọi rõ tên của nhân vật “Nàng” vô định ngang qua cuộc đời 13 người đàn ông có vợ. Thiên ngoại tình tưởng như dài đằng đẵng vậy mà cũng đã khép lại sau chưa đầy mười năm. Chớp mắt, nụ hồng thủa xưa đã rụng rơi từng cánh, lưu lại héo tàn cùng bao gai nhọn cho một định mệnh vô thường. Một cô gái tên Lyn trải cuộc đời già một phần tư thế kỷ với những suy nghiệm về tình yêu – lối sống. Buông mình vào bản năng và phản kháng khốc liệt trước sự giả tạo, dối lừa trong tình yêu, đến cuối lắng mình khỏi những khổ đau chỉ đọng lại nỗi đơn độc bàng hoàng. Thời tuổi trẻ ấy vừa chớm qua, người cũng đủ xót xa, mới hiểu mình đã sống và cần phải sống lại như thế nào.
Nếu bạn là một người đức hạnh, sẽ thấy trong Hồng Gai ngập mùi buông thả. Lối sống quay cuồng đã xô ngã rất nhiều giá trị cổ điển, để rồi từng thân phận phải chật vật đứng dậy bằng bản lĩnh chai cứng và gai góc của mình. Tôi chia sẻ với những cuộc đời như thế. Tôi không mong ai ai cũng sẽ thích tác phẩm của mình. Bởi vậy xin bạn đọc lưu ý dòng khuyến cáo ngay đầu quyển sách trước khi có ý định tìm hiểu thế giới của Hồng Gai.

ĐÔI MẮT KHÔNG CÒN ƯỚT NƯỚC
-nhật ký tình yêu đã qua đời-
Đó là con người tôi, trái tim tôi, và một cuộc tình đã trở thành hoài niệm của tôi. Tất cả thể hiện ở nhiều góc nhìn qua 9 truyện ngắn đầu tiên của cuốn sách, chỉ với hai nhân vật không tên trong mối tương quan yêu đương từ một trò đùa. Ái tình như chiếc bẫy, người ta hồ đồ quyết định lao vào trong một khắc thời gian ngắn ngủi, rồi phải mất rất lâu sau đó mới đủ dũng khí chấm dứt những đau khổ và trái ngang của mình. Dù tình yêu đã chết, nước mắt cũng chẳng còn ướt mi, thản nhiên là hiện thực khô cằn nơi khoé mắt và trái tim, nhưng liệu có hết được dằn vặt? Sau mỗi cuộc tình sẽ chẳng ai thanh thản hơn ai… Ngoài ra có thêm 2 câu chuyện ngoài lề, tách bạch hoàn toàn không khí trong cuộc tình đã cũ là những đoạn đời được vẽ lại bằng suy tưởng của một người phụ nữ lỡ đem trái tim trao cho người đàn ông không còn độc thân.
Những ồn ào và bất cần của “Dị bản” hay “Hồng gai” sẽ hiếm thấy trong tập truyện này. “Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” như một dấu lặng buồn ghim sâu trong đáy lòng. Đơn giản là khát vọng nghiêm túc về hạnh phúc đã không được đáp trả xứng đáng bởi dẫu sao “cô gái ấy cũng đã từng có một quá khứ…”. Người của hiện tại không chấp nhận nổi ngày hôm qua. Nên lìa tan là điều dễ hiểu. Cuối cùng vẫn là trái tim thêm một vết đau thương.

Hiện tại cả hai cuốn đang trong giai đoạn gấp rút vẽ bìa để có thể phát hành sớm. Ngày mai Keng sẽ post những mẫu bìa của Hồng Gai lên trưng cầu ý kiến cả nhà nha! Còn bìa của “Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước” vẫn chưa có ai nhận vẽ giùm Keng cả. Bạn nào giỏi đồ họa, có nhã hứng với bìa sách thì vẽ giúp Keng đi.
Kích thước: 13cm x 20,5cm ; tai gấp 6cm ; tương đương công thức sa
(Bìa chính + tai gấp) x2 + gáy = (13+7)2 + 1 = 41cm Width và 20,5cm Height
Tiêu chí: Có idea nhưng phải Đơn giản, độc đáo (như Dị Bản là được), nhìn bìa là thấy phù hợp với nội dung truyện.
Bìa được chọn sẽ được nhận 500K thù lao (chưa trừ VAT) + 1 cuốn truyện Keng tặng kèm chữ ký. Tất nhiên không kể việc có tên trong ít nhất 2.000 cuốn sách của Keng (đề phòng trường hợp sách ế, in lần đầu xong hem ai thèm đọc, chả được tái bản lần nào luôn… hị hị).
Bạn nào muốn giúp Keng thì cứ lên lay-out rồi send cho Keng hình JPEG, Keng sẽ gửi các logo và text bổ sung cho. Ưu tiên của Keng là thích hình vẽ hơn hình chụp, kiểu như là thích art hơn real life ý mà!
