S tanislav Jerzy Lec (phát âm như Letz), sinh năm 1909 ở Lvov trong một gia đình bố là quý tộc Áo, mẹ gốc Do Thái ở Ba Lan. Tốt nghiệp Luật, từ rất sớm Lec sống trong sự ảnh hưởng của ba nền văn hoá lớn là Ba Lan, Áo và Do Thái. Từ 1929, Lec bắt đầu hoạt động văn học, in thơ văn ở các báo, tạp chí Varsava. Năm 1941 ông bị bắt giam vào trại tập trung của Đức quốc xã, nhưng trốn thoát 3 năm sau đó và tham gia kháng chiến, làm ngoại giao cho Áo và mất năm 1966 tại Varsava.
N goài nhiều tập thơ, văn trào phúng, Lec là tác giả của khoảng 2.000 câu cách ngôn độc đáo đặc biệt được ưa chuộng ở Ba Lan và được dịch ra nhiều thứ tiếng trên thế giới. Lec trở nên nổi như cồn vì hóm hỉnh. Sách tập hợp các câu cách ngôn của Lec bằng tiếng Nga có tên: Những suy tưởng không chải chuốt. Là những ý nghĩ vụt lóe sáng hay hiểu đơn giản là nghĩ gì nói nấy. Hiện tại Keng đang viết dở dang 1 câu chuyện, không muốn post lên khi nó chưa hoàn thành, bởi sợ rằng cảm xúc ngắt quãng như chuyện về San, rất dễ lan man. Vì thế dạo mạng đọc được về Lec thấy rất thú vị nên post lên chia sẽ với bạn bè.
