Gây ấn tượng từ năm 2008 với một tác phẩm nhận được nhiều phản ứng trái chiều từ dư luận: Dị bản cùng dòng chữ gây sốc “chỉ đọc khi đã 18 tuổi”, Keng tiếp tục thể hiện sức viết dồi dào của mình khi lần lượt cho ra mắt 2 tập truyện ngắn trong năm 2009: Hồng gai và Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước. Hãy cùng chia sẻ một vài suy nghĩ của Keng về thế giới văn chương và những “dự án viết” tiếp theo của chị
Nếu ai đó nói tôi nên thay đổi, chắc chắn tôi sẽ không làm…
- Chào Keng! Cùng nhìn lại năm 2009 một chút nhé. Chị có cảm nhận gì khi Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước – tác phẩm mới nhất của mình có vẻ chưa đủ sốc để khiến mọi người chú ý như Dị bản hay Hồng gai?
Keng: Tôi nghĩ rằng, khi đã có những thứ đủ sức nặng hoặc là quá nặng, bạn nên có gì đó nhẹ nhàng hơn để cân bằng lại chính mình. Đôi mắt không còn ướt nước chỉ không được báo giới quan tâm chứ thực ra lượng bản in còn nhiều hơn cả Hồng gai!
Tôi cũng đoán trước rằng nó sẽ không ồn ào. Bởi bản thân cuốn sách vốn dĩ đã rất nhẹ nhàng so với 2 tập truyện trước đó. Và thực tế, tôi muốn nó đánh dấu một kỷ niệm của bản thân hơn là biến nó thành một tác phẩm văn học…
- Một kỉ niệm? Keng có thể chia sẻ một chút về điều thú vị này được chứ?
Keng: Kỷ niệm đó nằm toàn bộ trong cuốn sách, về việc tôi đã từng yêu một người và thất bại. Ngay trên tiêu đề phụ “nhật ký tình yêu đã qua đời” đã phần nào hé mở về kết quả của chuyện tình đến và đi trong quá khứ đó.
Nó đơn giản với việc bạn yêu một ai đó, cảm thấy vui vẻ, hạnh phúc, nhưng rồi tiếp đến là khổ đau và đắng xót khi cuối cùng mình phải buông tay, bất lực nhìn tình yêu chết. Khi bạn ngừng khóc, nghĩa là chuyện tình đã trôi đi, thanh thản ở một phương trời…
- Có vẻ như cả bộ 3 tác phẩm của Keng đều giống như một dạng “tự truyện văn học” đã được chị khéo léo kể lại, bởi từng trang viết đều giống như nhật kí?
Keng: Điều đó là không sai, ít nhất là với những người đã nhận xét như thế! Bản thân tôi cũng không nghĩ mình viết truyện, mà chỉ đơn giản là viết để nói được suy nghĩ và cảm xúc của mình. Mà đã là cá nhân thì cũng có thể coi như một dạng tự truyện văn học, nếu như người ta muốn phân loại thế.
- Keng không sợ nếu cứ viết các tác phẩm thiên nhiều về tự sự như thế, giới phê bình sẽ không đánh giá cao?
Keng: Nếu như ai đó nói tôi nên thay đổi, chắc chắn tôi sẽ không làm. Nhưng nếu tự bản thân tôi đến một lúc nào đó thấy sự thay đổi là cần thiết, thì chắc chắn tôi sẽ làm. Và thời gian qua, tôi đã trầm lại để nhìn nhận nhiều hơn về những vấn đề khác, những cuộc đời khác, thậm chí cố gắng nhìn về những thế giới khác.
Nói thật, tôi chỉ sợ độc giả chán mình, chứ chưa bao giờ cần sự đánh giá cao của giới phê bình, có chăng họ giúp tôi PR tác phẩm, mà chê bai cũng là một cách PR hiệu quả.
- Đi nhiều hơn, trải nghiệm nhiều hơn như thế, đã bao giờ Keng nhìn lại và hối tiếc về một điều gì đó với 3 cuốn sách đã xuất bản của mình?
Keng: Tại sao phải hối tiếc khi chúng đã đem lại cho tôi một cuộc sống nhiều điều thú vị và tuyệt vời hơn? Lợi nhuận từ sách không nhiều nhưng tôi đã tích lũy được rất nhiều hơn thế cho kho tài sản vô hình của mình.
Một cá tính leng keng thì sẽ vẫn leng keng!
- Từng làm trong nghành quảng cáo, hẳn Keng hiểu rất rõ Dị bản đã trở thành thương hiệu của Keng? Vậy bao giờ Keng mới thoát khỏi cái bóng của Dị bản?
Keng: Đúng là đến bây giờ thì Dị bản đã gắn liền với cái tên Keng. Người quen luôn viết Keng – Dị bản trong những lời đề tặng. Còn người ít quen hơn thì hay ngầm ý gọi tôi là “Cô gái Dị bản“.
Nhưng cũng may là nó chỉ là một thương hiệu nổi bật trong giới hạn của Keng thôi và vẫn chưa làm lu mờ đi nickname của tôi (cười). Giai đoạn phồn thịnh của một cuốn sách văn nghệ vốn không dài và tôi không muốn để mãi gắn chặt với Dị bản khiến các tác phẩm sau này không thể phát triển được mà cứ èo uột.
- Vậy Keng đã tìm ra cách để phát triển “thương hiệu mẹ” hay chưa?
Keng: Như các bạn thấy đấy, tôi đã vẽ ra cho mình một con đường viết lách khác trong tương lai. Tất nhiên là vẫn với mục đích in thành sách và hy vọng được độc giả đón nhận, dù đề tài hay phong cách của tôi đã thay đổi.
- Và hướng chuyển mới của chị sẽ nhắm vào ai?
Keng: Tôi có những độc giả đã từng yêu mến tôi, và luôn chờ đợi những tác phẩm mới của tôi thì có nên chuyển hướng đến những đối tượng độc giả khác không nhỉ? Chắc chắn là tôi không dại dột làm điều đó rồi! Tôi thay đổi về mặt đề tài là để độc giả không nghĩ Keng là một đầu bếp cứng nhắc, chỉ biết nấu hoài một “món ruột” ăn đến phát ngán.
- Nhưng có bao nhiêu phần trăm xác suất thành công cho một món ăn khẩu vị lạ? Và Keng sẽ dùng gia vị gì để chinh phục những người đọc khó tính?
Keng: Làm có thể thất bại, nhưng không làm thì xác suất thành công luôn luôn nằm ở mức 0. Tôi dành cho mình một quãng thời gian dài để tự luyện thành một đầu bếp có trách nhiệm. Những gia vị tôi sử dụng cho món ăn của mình phải là thứ gia vị đã được tôi phân tích, trải nghiệm rất kỹ bằng cả thời gian và xúc cảm của mình. Một đầu bếp có trách nhiệm với món ăn mình chế biến thì bạn nghĩ nó có dở không?
- Hay, dở thì phải lúc thưởng thức mới biết được nhưng liệu độc giả có thể biết trước nguyên liệu cho món chính của Keng sắp tới không?
Keng: Điều này xin phép được giữ bí mật vì ít nhất nửa năm nữa Keng mới có thể phát hành. Song có thể hé lộ một chút chút rằng: nếu yêu đương khiến mình mệt mỏi thì sao ta không hướng tới nghị lực và khát vọng? Tôi đang học cách nhìn rộng hơn và sẽ đem những điều đó vào trong tác phẩm sắp tới của mình…
- Có vẻ như sự chuyển dịch môi trường sống đã khiến “cô gái Dị bản” thay đổi nhiều? Liệu người ta có còn tìm thấy chất Keng trong những tác phẩm với đề tài “vĩ mô” như thế?
Keng: Một cá tính leng keng thì sẽ vẫn leng keng thôi (cười). Vẫn viết bằng trái tim cũ, con người cũ, chỉ có cách nhìn nhìn mới thì sao mà mất chất Keng được.
- Câu hỏi cuối cùng dành cho Keng nhé. Ngoài Keng với văn chương thì người ta còn có thể bắt gặp Keng với điều gì khác nữa?
Keng: Văn chương vốn chỉ là “nghề tay trái”. Trước khi viết sách, tôi làm trong ngành quảng cáo, giờ là truyền thông màu và năm tới còn định lấn sân sang lĩnh vực kinh doanh nữa. Đương nhiên là kho tài sản vô hình tích lũy được từ nghiệp văn cũng sẽ hỗ trợ đắc lực cho tôi. Nói chung nhiều người có thể bắt gặp Keng với những điều may mắn (cười).
